  • We begin to offer youth summer programming in Almonte

  • Our Community collaboration Lighting The Way, sees 50 people age 10-65 perform 9 short shows about the climate crisis, 5 new works, and 4 from the international project Climate Change Theatre Action.

  • 2018

  • Avante l'archipel - The French translation of Countries Shaped Like Stars tours across Canada presented by Les Gros Bec 

  • 2017

  • Countries Shaped Like Stars tours to the High Performance Rodeo in Calgary and the Chinook Series in Edmonton. A first attempt at touring with a baby goes...well

  • 2016

  • The French translation of Countries Shaped Like Stars - Avante l'archipel - premiers at the National Arts Centre as part of the French Theatre season.

  • WOLF CHILD nominated for Outstanding New Work and Outstanding Production at the Prix Rideau Awards.

  • 2015

  • WOLF CHILD premiers at the Ottawa International Children's Festival and is invited to pitch at the Magnetic North Theatre Festival

  • 2014

  • Revised from the Belly of a Whale is performed at the Undercurrents Festival in Ottawa,  In-the-soil Festival in Saint Catherine's, and the rEvolver Festival in Vancouver. 

  • Countries Shaped Like Stars is performed at the Saskatoon Int. Children's Festival

  • Our co-production of Hroses: An Affront to Reason with Evolution Theatre wins Outstanding Direction, Female Performance & Sound Design at the Prix Rideau Awards. It is also nominated for Outstanding Male performance, and  Collapsible gets a nomination for New Work.

  • Revised from the Belly of a Whale and Inclement Weather are performed at the Edmonton Fringe

  • 2013

  • Music from Live from the Belly of a Whale recorded with Matt Ouimet

  • Co-produce Jill Connell's Hroses: An Affront to Reason with Evolution Theatre

  • In residence at Videofag in Toronto, we make Whale music videos with Jordan Tannahill and perform two nights of stories and songs. 

  • Live from the Belly of a Whale is nomintated for 4 Prix Rideau Awards (Best Director, Lighting Design, Set Design and New Work). Our very own
    John Doucet wins it for set design.

  • Collapsible premiers at the Crichton Cultural Community Centre

  • Countries Shaped Like Stars is performed at the Ottawa International Children's Festival, The Festival Players of Prince Edward Country and the Edmonton Fringe

  • Live From the Belly of a Whale premiers at the 2012 Undercurrents Festival in Ottawa.

  • Countries Shaped Like Stars tours to the Wildside Festival (Montreal), The Globe Theatre (Regina), The Firehall Arts Centre (Whitehorse) as well as living rooms in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, St. Catharines and Toronto.

  • HIDE  premiers at SubDevision: A Theatrical Event in Ottawa, ON.

  • 2011

  • International workshop/presentation series organized for the local community with the Missoula Oblongata (US) teaching a creation workshop and presenting their show The Daughter of the Father of Time Motion Study.​

  • Mi Casa presents at Magnetic North’s Magnetic Waves and sits on a Compass Points panel on Devised Creation.​

  • An 8-show workshop run of Live From the Belly of the Whale at the Ottawa Fringe Festival takes home awards for “Outstanding Concept” and “Outstanding Overall Production.”​

  • Continued development of Live From the Belly of a Whale as part of a company residency with The Great Canadian Theatre Company.

  • 2010

  • Countries Shaped Like Stars tours to the Winnipeg Fringe, The Neanderthal Arts Festival in Vancouver, BC and SummerWorks in Toronto, ON.​

  • Countries Shaped Like Stars and Inclement Weather tour to the Revolutions International Theatre Festival in Albuquerque, NM and the Russian Hall in Vancouver, BC.

  • We make a storybook version of Countries Shaped Like Stars with illustrator Joshua Pearlman, and make an album with the help of the Acorn's Rolf Klausener.

  • 2009

  • ​Countries Shaped Like Stars and Inclement Weather are presented in a sold out run in the studio of the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre.​

  • Mi Casa is nominated for 9 Prix Rideau Awards and wins 3 including Outstanding New Creation and Outstanding Fringe Show.​

  • Inclement Weather and Countries Shaped Like Stars presented at the Ottawa Fringe Festival in a BYOV. Both shows enjoy sold-out runs and are the only local shows named in the top 5 CRITICS PICKS by the Ottawa Citizen.​
